It's no coincidence that this anti-creative movement was fueled by Big Tech. At its root, technology leads to standardization, and creativity doesn't do well when it's homogenized. From the start, creatives found themselves pressured into using the keywords Google determined were most effective. Great headline! Too bad you didn't use our preferred words to be seen on search. This corralled creativity in the name of efficiency.
